San Juan is celebrated all over Spain on the 23rd June, well at midnight on the 23rd. It is the crazy night when everyone heads down to the beach, brings plenty of boozy woozy and build massive bonfires to burn all the bad things that have happened in the past that they want to forget. It is essentially a purification ritual on the shortest night on the year. Had a great time with my friends at this hippy beach where there was an awesome live soul band playing which definitely got everybody on their feet!

Vancouverites (is that right?) went nuts and caused a riot this weekend when the Canucks lost the Stanley Cup final. However, amidst the craziness this couple decided to do this. Romantic. Do you think it was staged or spur of the moment? Whichever it is, theres no denying that it is incredibly cute. Reminds me of The Kiss the day the war was over in Time Sq.

Kristen Wiig

Ever since her little 5 min roles in Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Semi-Pro I thought that this woman was gonna be HUGE one day. She is pretty legendary on SNL but if you don't live in the US she is relatively unknown in the rest of the world. But not for long, she recently played a significant role in Paul and has now starred in a movie written by herself (directed by Paul Feig and produced by Judd Apatow & also starring Maya Rudolph, LOVE U GUUURLL) called Bridesmaids which everyone has said is absolutely hilarious and an instant classic! I can't wait to see it... will be a while since I am back home in Spain. Furthermore, she has starred in Bored to Death one of my favourite tv shows, enough said.

There is nothing I love more than a really good female comedienne. We need more out there!

Again, I am going to tell you all how talented I think Lady Gaga is. I know that you either hate her or you love her but regardless of your opinion you must agree that she is a talent.
