Coca Cola

I know Coca Cola is the biggest brand on this planet and its brand name alone is worth something like $65 billion BUT why doesn't their Diet Coke and Coca Cola light taste the same? Am I the only person who feels like they taste like totally different drinks?


I was mostly brought up in Spain where I be sippin' on that coca cola light (in my best cateto accent) so when I moved here to England it was a little shock to the system when I drank this so called Diet Coke. I noticed the same thing when I drank it in the US too. Am I just being a coke snob? Weird. 


....Thoughts? Anyone even interested? Didn't think so.
