Glass Beach

Check out Glass Beach in Fort Bragg, California it is the incredible result of human wastefulness and the resilience of nature.These days, Glass Beach is a protected part of MacKerricher State Park, but in 1949, it was the site of an unrestricted dump. Over the years it has become to look like this. 

Even though this is a beautiful sight, I still feel strongly about recycling and judge anyone who can yet does not recycle.

Missing nyc today

Missing the city a little today! Haven't even given it any thought recently. Maybe it's because my bestie who lives there is getting taken away by the 7 seas for 10 months on Monday! :( Too sad yet too proud of her.
